YT sessions focus on addressing health and well-being issues by taking into account the client’s physical, mental, and emotional state.
Session 1:
The initial session involves a conversation about the client’s health, lifestyle, and main concerns. Objectives are discussed, and a plan is outlined. A short, simple yoga practice is conducted to give the client an initial experience of the work ahead.
Session 2:
This session focuses primarily on exploring the client’s movement and breathing patterns. Future sessions will be fully customized to suit the individual’s physical constitution, posture, and movement abilities.
Sessions 3-5:
A personalized plan, tailored to individual needs and any contraindications, is put into practice. This includes postures, somatic movements, breathing techniques, relaxation exercises, concentration/meditation, and lifestyle recommendations.
Progress is closely monitored, with clients encouraged to express their feelings to ensure sessions remain well-suited to their needs. A home practice routine may be suggested to help reinforce consistency and maximize the benefits of YT.
At the end of the 5th session, the work done so far is reviewed, and further steps are discussed. Initial YT sessions are generally conducted weekly. The number of sessions required depends on various factors, with the ultimate goal being to empower the client with the skills necessary to continue their personal journey independently.
YT sessions are conducted in a comfortable, safe, and non-judgmental environment. There is no right or wrong way—each person is allowed to flourish at their own pace. Beyond the physical practice, YT emphasizes increased body awareness, mental clarity, emotional balance, and the ability to embrace one’s individual life purpose.
